The Last Semester Break

Assalamualaikum and good day y'all!
Alhamdulillah dah selamat balik ke kampus. Tenang je rasa hari ni. mungkin sebab tak ramai yg ada di hostel ni.  So i take this time to wash the clothes, spring-clean the room (kinda), and prepare the whatnots, ready to take on the second (and the last!) semester of my studies. Dalam masa free ni boleh la nak update blog sekejap.

Got a week off for chinese new year. And i think i spent em wisely. Met the people i wanted to meet & done the things i've longed to do. Cuma geng-geng TK saje yang tak sempat nak melepak sekali ari tu, since busy sangat jaga kedai. Cinau rindu katenye, tapi tak singgah ke kedai pun. *sad*

Tauke kedua

Anyway, had great time during the holiday. Balik rumah now, for me, means to take on the duty as the Cherry Boutique's manager, jadi pemangku Pn Rohani kejap. Sangatlah penat me tell ya. Melayan kerenah customer one by one. Adeh. But it's all worth it! I'm glad, dapat ringan kan beban mama walaupun sedikit je. Kami ada pekerja seorang je, Siti nama dia. Rajin budak ni, peramah jugak. Untunglah dapat pekerja yg boleh dipercayai macam ni. =)

Tauke ketiga

Jaga kedai dengan budak-budak ni lah. The little monkeys. Or as i call them, brothers. Tauke ketiga tu tak jaga kedai sangat pun. More to makan tidur sahaja.

Kadang-kadang jaga kedai ni boring jugak kalau time tak ada customer. Nak study pun tak sesuai dgn condition kat kawasan kedai yg bising dgn lagu-lagu semua. So in the mean time, i tried to open up Cherry Boutique to the netizens. Thanks to this social media called Facebook! =D So i called up my best friend Atikah, when she came and visit i asked her to become our model for Cherry Boutique. Me, the stylist and photographer. Hehe padahal tak style sangat pun suruh Atikah pakai sendiri je tudung tu. ;P Here are the result:

Hehe cun sangat model ni sampaikan ada yg like page tu semata-mata nak berkenalan dengan model. Siap tinggal nombor telefon kat ruang komen lagi. kihkihkih. ;P Thanks for helping out, love.

After the so-called photoshoot, of course we camwhored a little!

Yang tengah tu adik Atikah, comel macam kakak baju kuning tu. Eh. Haha
Ok satu gambar je. Nama pun camwhore, yang lain simpan dalam phone kitorang je cukup.

Yeah so it happens, the Cherry Boutique, now available on Facebook! Jemput like ya.Thanks lads. =D

And oh! Another duper awesome thing is that i finally had the chance to join the tweeps for a charity event in HKL. You see, in twitter, there's this group caled the CP (Caring People), me myself not so sure it's an official NGO or what, but one things for certain is the peeps there, they're good people, doing good deeds, insyaAllah. So for those who have a twitter account and interested to join the volunteering activity, read about CP in here: CelakaParty.

What we do in HKL that day, for Toys4Kidz event (you can find the hashtag on twitter), is to visit and give out toys to the kids. It's a way to show remembrance to those who's staying in the hospital, short-term, or long-term & also to appreciatete kids' patience and strength, bearing with and fighting the sickness. It ain't easy, being 10 and having cancer. Or being 1 year old, and having to go through major surgery! Hope that our presence, along with the clowns, had cheered them up. =)

Here are some pics from the event, credit goes to all CP comrades. I'm just not sure whose camera is which! ;P

The comrades.

The toys.
We got sponsors from Celcom, Maxis, and Astro too. Tahniah kepada semua AJK-AJK Toys4Kidz yg bertungkus lumus mengumpulkan permainan ini semua. Syabbas betteih! Saya bukan AJK. Saya ahli kekecik je. ;P

Here's our hilarious emcee, Mr.Andy and the buffday boy, De Mekdi. Boy did they spam the mic!

A portion of the audience. Tekun je mendengar bebelan kat depan.

Miss TyRaz getting busy. One of the usher of the day.

Here's Mr.President, JC. Followed him on twitter long ago, and for that 'long ago', i was reckoning him as a malignant person. But in reality, a kind-hearted man. But still, not for the fain=hearted. ;P

Cian adik ni. Kekecik dah kena masuk banyak wires.

Mr. Andy beramah mesra dengan one of the kids. Tak semua ni pesakit tau. Kids yg melawat je pun boleh join.

Yang bertudung merah tu saje enterprem.

The Clown! =D

Stella's charm cheering the kids up!

Giving out the toys to the kids, dalam masa yg sama bertanya khabar penjaga dia jugak.

With Akak mas_IFP & itseddyall. Abaikan ekspresi buruk si tudung merah.

With kamy @ camille. ;)

The ones from my camera are only the last two. Yang lain tu plagiarism. Hehe

I'm sorry i'm not so good in describing how the day went. This post alone is lengthy enough for me. hehe.. But i know someone who does! Here, you can read about the Toys4Kidz event on _uculer's blog: http://uculer.blogspot.com/2012/01/hari-kejadian-toyz4kids.html. Enjoy! =8)

.priorities.

Assalamualaikum & good day peeps. =)

It's 4th day of ramadhan y'all! 3 down and another 27 days to go! Congratulations to ourselves. :D

During this Ramadhan season i'm blessed to have it at home, with my family and friends around. Proper food for sahur all the waaaayy. Alhamdulillah. =)

Well here i have a confession to make.

All this while, i have this scepticism on people who posts about the ibadah that they do in Ramadhan, although they meant well. For example when people posted up "hey terawikh time!" I have this thought like, "lorhh..sebenarnya nak gitaw dia gi terawikh tu" or when there this kind of post: "baca Quran jap after jemaah bagus gak an?" Again, i'd went "lorrrhh..org lain ade gak wat kot. xyah nak promo sgt lah."

Until the first day of Ramadhan, i was having a super malas time and was thinking to skip terawikh on that day. Then i see my dear Farah Ainaa's FB status:

pesta ibadah bakal bermula!!! ok excited :)) jomm2 seap pape yg patut.tolak tepi jap less0n plan l teaching aids l assignmnts sume bagaiii.kte serbu masjid t'dekat terawih start mlm nie keyh! mngkin ini ramadhan t'akhir kte wh0 kn0ws :'( Quran kasi khatam with0ut k0mpromi jugakx yerp! ;D

"tolak tepi jap.." make me realise that my priority at that exact moment should be mengejar pesta ibadah tu, instead of being selfish and lounging at home. And thus i decided to go to terawikh that night. A simple status update of a friend has made me change my mind. I can't imagine her share of pahala that she'd get that night. And I was jealous.

I was like, masyaAllah, this is an example of a true friend who shall keep reminding her friends and herself towards amar makruf. So instead of being sceptic about these kind of posts, i should get jealous of them and take the positive messages that they try to convey. Perhaps i can have my share too. :D

And today, while i was blogsurfing..(yeap, that's what i do all day today. heheh) found this heartmelting speech by Boona Mohammed. It makes me have some sort of 'epiphany' on my Priorities, especially in this holy month of Ramadhan. Hope we all get someting from this.

just in case u didn't get what he's sayin:

Priorities
Ya Allah if you should take me in my salat please take me as a believer,
I pray the angel of death appears half as beautiful
As half the beauty created by my creator,
Take me yesterday if it means I'll get there sooner.

The warm wet water still dripping from my wudu,
I beat the sun this morning in order to stand before you,
But no need to thank me, your praise is long overdue,
All I ask is that my intentions be clear and true.

The Ka'bah in line with my nose, hell fire under my toes,
If this it, please make these last prayers legit
For I am nothing but a servant please master give me guidance,
Bring me closer to your deen, far away from shaytain,
Only five times a day, I wish I could pray infinity
For all that you have given me; for all that you have taken away
There is no excuse for me to not want to stand up and say "Allahu Akbar"

I state the obvious, nervous, body in perfect formation
As I stand before my Lord trying to prove my dedication
Walking the thin line between hope and fear,
Words coming out crystal clear as though judgment was here,
The humility combats the lies I told in my youth,
In my sujood is when I am closest to truth
A vessel of submission, his recognition is my quest
Hands folded, both palms crossed facing my chest,
Gaze is lowered, on the spot from which my head will rise,
Wet warm water still covers my eyes.

I cherish this dunya, like I cherish sunny weather,
Wonderful at times, but still not meant forever,
So Ya Allah, if you take me in my salat,
Please have my last words be the last words of Al-Fatiha
Right before La ilaha illa Allah, Ashden Muhammadur Rasul Allah,
For you my God, I will hold and cherish this faith,
For this is a test, and we always do worst in the subjects that we hate,
So I am still amazed that you have given me the strength to praise,
For a long time I never prayed, never said your name for days
I am still ashamed of what my heart once contained,
But still you sent me blessings again and again,
Your mercy uses words that I can simply not explain
The honour that I feel, the love that I maintain

Forehead and nose, hands, knees and toes,
All pressed before the Lord, before I rose,
I choose to make a little prayer of my own,
Ya please Allah forgive me for my sins as though they were not my own,
Help me to pray as though I were saying my final goodbyes,
My bouncing finger lets me know I'm still alive, Alhumdulliah

Wallahi,
I swear to God, I do not feel comfortable swearing to God,
Because I'm not sure if my faulty words will even do him justice
So now everyday I send peace and blessings upon his prophet,
Empty my conscious like banks empty my pockets,
Only this interest is in my best interest
Were my prayers answered, only One knows best?
I'll try again soon, Insha'Allah
The rest is in the hands of Allah Subhanahu Wa-Ta'ala

That's all folks! *warnerbros style* Take care!
p/s: Dear Farah Ainaa, isn't it a blessing to have you by my side? Love you darla. =)

.my readytoeats.

Assalamualaikum and good Ramadhan day to all my muslim readers. :)

Whew what a day. I've been sitting here at my desk all day long, drawing (more to sketching actually) floor plans for my mom's upcoming clothing shop. Being a biology student, (ok i don't speak for all bio students, so pls refer to specifically me. hihih) i now know that it's hard to draw floor plans with super straight lines! Especially when i'm not a big fan of the ruler. Thus, the sketching only. A LOT have to be put into considerations when sketching a shop plan. Display area, hot stuffs area, lounging area (since it's like a homey boutique kind of thing, so this is crucial), solah area, counter table, the walpapes, and whatnots. When you try to fit them all in detailed proportionated drawings with a proper measurement, it's hard. tsk.tsk.

My drawing desk is like a Japanese table, which the seats are just pillows, so sitting there for long hours make me have positional hypotension. Everytime bangun sure pening punya. Puasa pulak tu kan.. Ark! Merungut! Mana boleh merungut Iliana..ibadah tu.. huhu. OK sorry. ;P

Anyways, while doing the work, it's not like i'm such a workaholic, drawing plans all the time kan, (i'm not even a real architect/plan designer to begin with! heh.) so i do play around in the cyber social network pages. I FB-ed, i tweet, iYM-ed, i g-talked, and so on. So it happens that i chat with one of my darlas today (like, duh~ bffs kot), Nurul Ella (thats her FB name). She had just opened a company, in partnership with her brother. They sell ready-to-eat meals that are super delicious. .Hilarious Vloggers.

Assalamualaikum and good day peeps! :)

Sekarang pukul 3.42 pagi, ikut plan asal memang tak maw tidur sbb esok nak naik bas balik Kelate. So masa dalam bas harus diguna fully untuk tidur la kan. Rugi kalau terjaga. Heheh. Ikut plan asalnya jugak, masa stay up ni nak diguna sepenuhnya untuk buat orthopaedics revision, sebagai pelengkap diri untuk kembali berjuang hari Ahad nanti. (Dr.Jeff, here i come! Please be kind with the MCQ? ;P) Tapi macam biasa, kita hanya merancang.. ;O

Sedang mengulangkaji pelajaran, (sambil berchatting dan blogsurfing, hehe) cik bestie Atikah mengetuk pintu chatbox di Fesbuk. She shared one of the hilarious Youtube site, by Belacan n Paku. So instead of studying, i was like, gelak guling-guling. Hahaha *sapu air mata* (Tikah memang tengah addict Youtube sekarang. Semua vloggers dia stalk nowadays. Tak percaya baca blog dia, Dazzling Diamond). Hari tu masa datang bertandang ke rumah, for our routine girls' talk of course, dia siap ada mention lagi cadangan untuk bervlog bersama. "Wan i think kalau kita buat video berdua, would be great kan? Letak kat Youtube." and i was like, "Hoh??" (@.@)!! Hehe.. Idok le kaeh... (in Raub, that translate as: "Tidak le saya..") Tapi saya sokong je kalau Tikah nak buat video. She's awesome in every way. Go Go Atikah!! *\(^_^)/*

Before this, i only know some of the funny vloggers, like Mat Luthfi. Then from Didie's sister, Hanna, dapat korek lagi si Anwar Hadi & Maria Elena. Coolness, people. Seronok la tengok vids diorang especially time boring or tension. Boleh buat kita ketawa and at the same time, ada pengajaran jugak. Kudos to these peeps. ;) One of my personal favourite, Anwar Hadi's 'Ewww Language':

Hahah. Terasa?? Bestnyeww la bro ni kan? ;P

Okay back to my lovely Raub story. A week here sempat jumpa Atikah seorang je. Sayang sungguh bestie saya yang tak pernah fail nak visit ke rumah everytime ni. Maklum la saya tak ada kenderaan nak bertandang ke rumah member-member..huhu.. When she came over kitorang siap sempat buat photoshoot lagi. Since dulu pernah ada feedback from some customers and friends, katanya blogshop lagi menarik kalau ada real human modelling the clothings. So Ms.Atikah pun dengan rela hatinya dijadikan model sambilan. Check it out here. Hehe..segala feedback dialu-alukan..

Esok dah nak balik USMKK dah. Seminggu je ada kat rumah. Tapi in 2 weeks balik semula ke sini! More time to spend with my beloveds. Harap boleh jumpa yang jauh di mata dekat di hati, Ms.Erna, Ms.Farah Ainaa, Ms. Minah (yang ni dekat geographically, tapi jauh benar rasanya bila payah nak jumpa. She's like super busy with work. Aih..) Ms.WNA, Ms. Aziera & Ms.Izzatie. Would be great if we can have a girls day out before Min kahwin ni! (^^,)v

Okies nak try sambung study and then packing for tomorrow's trip. Take care everybody! :D

.love diaries.

Assalamualaikum and good day. :)

Today i kick-start my day with a cuppa coffee and various plans on the things that i need to do during office hours. Simply because all of them involve people that works in the office. Such as;

My CFCS patient card that needs signature (To be submitted to the sister in the KKKK office. However, to submit it, i must first fill in my patient's family members' names and IC numbers. This can be done by calling my patient and asking him all the info),

My dental appointment (To be set with the nurse in the Klinik Pakar Gigi HUSM, according to Dr. Abdullah),

My car sticker form (To be submitted to the USMKK HEP dept. To be able to do this, i must have the photocopied car insurance sheet and grant that my father has with him. Shouldn't be a problem, since baba work near my campus and i can pick them up from him during lunch hour.)

Send out presents to my friends via pos laju (To be posted at the mini post office in campus).

Since IDA (the InterDisciplinary Activities, mainly lectures) starts early in the morning, i planned to get done with the things i mentioned during inter-lectures break and some in the afternoon.

As usual, my IDA session are filled with either
me, intensely absorbed into the lecture topic and jotting down (very rare situation)
me, reading fiction (not uncommon), or
me, talking in 20-25 desible intensity of voice with friends, a.k.a borak kosong (common), or
me, sleeping (surprisingly common. eheh).

So at 8.30am sharp, (i was on time), i started reading Madeline Wickham's The Wedding Girl. At 8.55am, there was an announcement, morning lecture was canceled. Chance to call my cfcs patient and straight to the KKKK Dept, yet i was still reading. Until 9.30am, i got to chapter 8 and stopped since Prof Nik Zainal, our phase coordinator, came in, warning us on the bad IDA attendance. He was saying all sorts of things like, we must always come to the session, 100% attendance expected this week onwards, and do not sign for your friends because apparently the academic office have some kind of forensic officer that can detect the fake signature, even the slightest bent.

Now i don't have the authority to say that it's not true, but saying out those things may not really be effective. I mean, it may be, if the implementation was carried out word by word. Me as the IDA 'runner', have been warned by the academic office the same thing since day 1. However, a different news was circulating, that seniors said IDA consist of no importance when it comes to our academic assessment. They themselves have been 'playing truant?' and faced no consequences. NO action at all. So why bother? In the end, the attendance are just based on some student's eagerness to learn and willingness to wake up in the early morning and fill in their attendance, not out of worry that they are going to be taken disciplinary action upon. So yeah, after the 'warning', most students were just, 'yeah whatever' or giggle cynically. Aih.. I just hope that if the academic office say so, they do so, so that it won't be an insult to the ones who really came every IDA morning. (sadly, not me. aih..i have also been absent a few times). Some lecturers confessed their curiosity to us wether we find the IDA helpful? Although with that much absentee i don't dare to say that it's not, since there are quite a number of 'enjoyable' lectures that give us info out of our usual academic scope, like the medico-legal lectures, disasters and forensic (when else are we going to have a 'disaster' lecture if not during IDA? and yes, 'Natural Disaster' was a lecture title). So the IDA remains, and absentee remains in their room. May Prof. Nik Zainal's words may alter the numbers.

Second lecture's break - i ended up playing Fruit Ninja on Faiz's iPod until the battery depleted. So the inter-lectures break were non-productive for me.

Done with the lectures, Ruby, Sue and I went for our gastroround. As usual, girls + lunch break + no evening class + air conditioned cafe = talk and talk and talk. Feeling full, I went back to my room, determined to call baba and get the car insurance thing, also to call my patient and submit the CFCS card today, when i saw my friends' unwrapped present (ah, forgot to wrap em and post em!).
The present i got them are somewhat a love diary. Although the diaries are already very pretty, i decided to add something to make them more special since i'm giving them to my best friends. I just add some quick notes to a few dates.

Just a simple hello.

a reminder of my buffday is a must. hehe

So these are what i've been doing till it's 15 minutes past 5 and along with it destroyed all hope to run errands concerning the mentioned offices above. Hope you guys like it when it reach your doorstep, sunshine(s). ;)

p/s: about the dental appointment, i totally forgot all about it. uhu.

.all good.

Alhamdulillah.. :)

Thank you Allah for the neverending joy He keep supplying this humble life of mine.

I'm really a happy bunny in these 2 days and so. On Friday my whole family (and by whole i mean parents, me and my lil bro. muehehe..) went to Kuantan to visit Abg Chik in Gambang matriculation college. We kidnapped him after the Jumaat prayer, (although he's not suppose to go out cz they have JPP stuffs going on in the evening of the day, but somehow he managed to get through the mak guard) and went shopping in East Coast Mall. After the mall my bros and I we set out to the GSC for Toys Story 3 - which is sooooooooo worth it. I really won't mind watching it again.

The three of us have always been fans of the Toys Story movies (anyone isn't?) and the characters, so watching the sequel in the cinema is something that we just MUST do. And as always, the Toys Story 3 is everything we thought it would be. The characters are so alive, with distinct personality and 'humane qualities' they each uniquely posses, the storyline are brilliant for all 3 movies, and I love TS3 particularly for its combination of thrill action, comedy and drama. All put together so effortlessly entertaining. It's sad however that the toys are not with Andy anymore, since he's going to college and all. The last scene are so saddening i had to really refrain myself from letting the tears come out - since it's just a cartoon, i somehow feel ridiculous to cry over it, huhu.. (but really, it's so sad i might not even care if to cry if the first tear dropped) and apparently my brothers did so too. It's weird how a simple work of the cartoonists and some computer graphics can really touch our heart.

To anyone who hasn't watch the TS3 (or even TS1 or TS2) yet, i reaaaallllllyy recommend the movie. To cartoon lovers, its a MUST-watch. Enjoy Buzz Lightyear's dance in his Spanish mode. So sexy and damn funny! That was my favourite part in the movie, i laughed out loud and almost everyone in the cinema did! Haha.. After the TS3, we bought the tickets for midnight movie Karate Kid. This one's quite slow i was half asleep in some part of the movie (well it's not the movie's fault i was watching it around 1.30am anyway). But all in all, it was entertaining. I love Will Smith's kid's act. He's a natural and i really think he's doing great for his future acting career. This movie is recommended too. What really made me happy was the three of us spent time together laughing and discussing the movie until the next morning. Precious times like that always makes everything worth it.

We had to leave Abg Chik at his friend's house on Saturday morning because we had a wedding to attend in Putrajaya before late afternoon. Baba was speeding all the way. Luckily the wedding buffet is still going on when we arrived (then ape lagi, melantak lah. haha).. Since it's Syafiq's sister's wedding, a lot of fellas from my secondary school were there so after the buffet I joined them hanging out in Alamanda. It was fun, meeting old friends whom i haven't seen much around these days. Aziera treat us to a whole lot bunch of Big Apple doughnuts and we just hang out having pointless conversations and laughed our asses off. Thanx dudes and dudettes, for making my day. :)

Didi picked me up at Alamanda after the peeps left and we had dinner at Soho bangi (did i make it sound anything like SOHO the club and bar? well it's anything but. haha). Another person to keep the jovial smile on me all day. :) I always knew that he's my guy, but everytime i see him he never fail to make me feel like the luckiest person on earth to have him as my guy. :D :D :D I can't help it that my heart hop around and summersaulted with joy when he's around although he might have done the most boring things on earth sometimes.. hehe okay won't go on rambling about him here. Spent the night at my uncle's house in Gombak. He just moved there so i wasnt quite familiar with the route to his house yet, so Didi and I spent quite a while searching for it - I didn't really mind though, cz it kept me with Didi longer. haha.. :P

The littlest thing when done with people that matters, will always make the biggest memories you'll regret to lose. I love you all. :)

And oh, Happy Birthday to Mr. Wan Mohd Sulaiman bin Wan Ismail. You are the best any father can ever be. As i know my baba won't read this, and he's currently in KL, i'll just pour my heart out on his cellphone via text msgs, aite?

Take care everyone. :-*

.My Checklist Updates.

Assalamualaikum and a very good day to you! :)

Remember these?

NOte-to-SeLf 4 pOsTExaM:

1. Work at Chek Sing.

2. Learn japanese seriously before fly in May.

3. Finish up the cross stitches.

4. Colour bedroom furnitures in WHITE.

5. Paint bathroom stripey purple or any other warna that makes sense.

6. Build rack for store room.

7. Make a rock-paper-scissors-lizard-Spock t-shirt.

8. Go along with sister Yati’s plan lah.

As you can see, there are a few crossed ones. Well actually, i didn't get the work at Chek Sing. Chek Sing is a botanical shop which sell plants for gardens. Apparently the job offer was taken back as he said he's going to do more of landscape jobs this season, (i don't know what 'seasons' does he go by) and will need more manpower (as in, MAN power). So a petite like me who's generally only useful for looking after the kedai and watering plants and transfering them from black bag to the pots isn't really necessary at this time of the 'season'. Kecewa. Ok, keep calm and moving on..

As for the Japanese language, i am now learning by heart. But i still can't figure much when i try visiting Japanese websites to train my efficiency in that language. It's okay (consoling myself), berakit-rakit ke hulu..plus, Ady and Ena will be there to translate for me. muehehehe....

And the storeroom, i didn't exactly build a new one, merely just modify the use of the old bookshelf to suit it's use in the store room as a tool rack.

Btw, i have white furnitures now! Yeay Yeay Yeay! :D

Here are some pics of us trying to D-I-Y.

the bro kurang membantu. ceh.

She hold the brush when I hold the camera. ;P

Applying undercoat.

Pakdin yang begitu banyak berusaha, esp masa baba datang checking us out. Makin putih dia lepas cat perabot tu. ;P

[caption id="attachment_413" align="aligncenter" width="480" caption="Before it was transformed. I kinda miss the old woody look. "][/caption]

[caption id="attachment_414" align="aligncenter" width="480" caption="me being plumpy and bossy and all.."][/caption]

After all the demanding and crazy-hot madness under scorching sun, i don't think the troops will come back to give a hand when i cry out help the next time. haha.. ;P

Guess i'll be painting my bathroom purple by myself. (^^,)"

.once in a blue moon.

Assalamualaikum and a very good day to all. :)

And yes, it is a very good day indeed. It's my favourite weather happening - with bits of rainy and sunshine-y. And green predominates the colours outside my window. So cosy and beautiful. I love to watch people walking / just hanging around in the rain with their umbrellas up too, illuminating rainbows apart from from the potential natural one. It has been like this since yesterday, the cold weather 'lullaby-ing' many of us who already were super-sleepy from new year's eve celebration, not allowing us to get up and gear up for the day ahead - which is duper-dangerous for this particular girl who's having professional exam in medicine in not 3 months! Arkk!!

Yeah ok i know, some of you might be saying, "So what are you doing here (+ facebooking)?!! Get out and hit the books already!!" - believe me, i've been saying the same thing to myself, and so, err...just a brief update?

Well okay, nothing much, just that on new years eve, while i planned to set back and read with cuppa mugga of coffee in my hand the whole midnight till morning, suzana texted me, inviting to watch the eclipse at the beach. And i thought, wow, eclipse on new year's eve! That's something! And so we went.

We've departed a bit late from the campus as we've to wait for Sue and Yana to get done with their aerobics training (they're on the campus aerobic team. yes, the all-time champ in inter-campus aerobics, aerobic team). So we kinda missed the fireworks part.

And for the first time in my life, (reminding you, i am actually a Kelantanese - no biggy) i now know the route to Pantai Cahaya Bulan! Muahahhaa.. Now when my friends visit, i can proudly say, "I can bring you to PCB, by car." muahahhaha... :P

Because we couldn't really see the eclipse (some say it's actually just a full moon, i don't know, confused by the tabloids too), we end up unwinding with the cool breeze and camwhoring instead! Here are some pictures of us:

.jolly mownin, with gwen stefanie's on!.

Assalamualaikum and good day! :D

This should be posted yesterday, but since the internet connection was a bit off, i decided to go to bed early nstead.

Remember i said that it'll be a good day yesterday? As i reckoned, it went well. :) Actually just common routine were done, but somehow the emotion that i went through the whole day with was a bit exceptional (amygdala yang sihat?). The second day in psychiatry block made a bit more sense to me now. The lectures were rather apprehensible than the 1st day. Maybe it was the prejudice that i had in mind even before the week started made my first day of psychi boring and my lecture hours filled with deep sleep. (-.-") Yet during the 'illusional' lectures, i realised that i have the wrong interpretation of the term 'paranoid'. I have always been using it to describe my inferiority or diffidence, while in psychiatry, it actually means a phenomena in which somebody has a pervasive pattern of distrust or suspicion of others, e.g. someone wants to harm you. Haha okay, now that i knew better, i'll use it appropriately.

In the evening, thank you Allah S.W.T for a beautiful weather yesterday, our intensive training for Sukad has eventually started. But no game yet, it's back to the basic training first. We were trained like a 5 year-old, catching balls with our bare hands while the coach made us run across the court. The main focus was the footwork. To be able to give a nice stroke, one must know the appropriate distance to stop and form a proper stance. This is a very useful practice for me as i'm prone to lose balance when striking the ball. So most of the time i looked like playing aggressively while i was actually just trying to make the ball touch the racquet while being a foot away from the proper distance. And it makes me lose my breath faster. Once i excel in footwork, it'll help me to strike the ball right at the contact point, thus the ball will always go where the belly button points when i make impact. And the training comes with 3 rounds of sidesteps around two courts, too. (-.-") Oh well. Hope today will be as 'scorching' as yesterday, so our training can resume.

At night, Ady, Yana, Mira, Aina and me went to Celana Villa, for a fine dining. Introduced by Mira, so she say where her boyfriend always bring her to, it was in a quite remote area in Pulau Melaka. The food was okay, but the 'ayam lemon' is a bit off. It taste like chicken dippped in sunquick. eekkk!! But overall i was satisfied with the newy-discovered dining spot. ;D

Haha okay i'm late for clinical case presentation. Toodle loo!!

.Hush hush, I'm here.

There are times, when necessity overcome pride. And that is also when, i must come to understand thoroughly the soul of friendship, and assist in maintaining both.

.until proven otherwise.

Assalamualaikum and good day.

It's the 3 rd day of RAYA people! Have you visit your family & friends' houses yet? And more importantly, have you asked for enough forgiveness this year? I haven't. Wuwu~ (-.-")

So far my raya has been okay. Although Tok Ayah has been a little sick lately. He's slimming down to someone quite unrecognisable as him. He was a sturdy man, recruiting his grandchildren for hari raya mass labour work. But now he looked so skinny, having chills and rigors, shaking on his bed. As everything is of constitutional symptoms and diarrhoea, i'm hoping it's just gastroentritis. We went to the hospital, and the doctor commented nothing on the pandemic disease. 'Phewh', but not quite. He is still having fever. He once said, "lepah cucu bongsu ni, takdok doh la.." Maksu is bearing her first child, barely in the first month of gestation. Saya harap mulut Tok Ayah tak masin.

[caption id="attachment_268" align="aligncenter" width="479" caption="Tok Ayah on pagi raya. He claimed to be at his best of health that morning, since Ramadhan. Until he fell sick (again) that evening and brought to Hospital Pasir Mas A&E by midnight."]beloveds[/caption]

As for everything else, raya is fine. Much hilarity with people all around me in the mood for celebration. I love it when people have so much positive energy around me. I think it somehow can topup mine a little since i am lack of it nowadays.

And,

I hate it when it come down to this. But as i am typing alone in my room, and the negativity is so overwhelmingly underwhelming, i am easily drifted away from any presence of happiness, and start to think of myself as the 21 year old walking with the worst of fate on earth - which of course, not. God has given me so much for me to be grateful for. Again, it's just my melancholy.

And to have this 'syndrome', and be in a relationship, is fatal. I tend to drag down lingering energy that i feel nearest to me. Poor him. I am grateful that my BFFs understand this concept completely, and survive it with me and standing still whenever the emotional chaos come into scene and me struggle in trying to figure it out. Kadang-kadang rasa macam doa tak sampai. And looking back into my life, it's not hard to figure out why. (-.-")

I once liked to think of myself as:

Wan Iliana = positive and honest.

But now, i don't think i does seem so anymore. Nak positif susah. Nak jujur, lagi susah, sebab sepatutnya yang negatif tak patut dibawa keluar. Have to find a new recipe for life to perk it up.

There's a line in medicine, which is very useful for a diagnosis. "Until proven otherwise." I am trying to get hold of this phrase. Because everytime i sense sadness in me, my mind worked its the way to previous let-downs and past crushed hopes, rubbing salts to the chronic wounds. And in life, if you search for someone's faults to prove someone's wrong, of course she will be, and that applies to you too. So i'll try to prove otherwise. Whenever i think I am unhappy, any evidence on that, miss? Can you fix it? Kalau nak ber-melankoli saja memanjang, abeh le. Manja ah kamu. Aren't you one happy girl once? So, until i am proven otherwise.

p/s: Back in matriculation day, Didi Aiman gave me a book as a birthday present. A book on "How to be Happy". I thought, okay, lame, but read it anyway. ;P Thinking of it now, made me grin. I wonder what was he thinking at that time? Did he sense something in me that made him trying to prepare for near future, in case my emotional chaos take place?

Haha who am i trying to kid. Of course he just bought it because he knows i like to read. That's all.

p/s/s: Dear anyone, sorry, kalau saya dah buat kamu susah hati.

perk it up.
